Seigi to Shimpan -Justice and Judgement-
Maki Mannami
The fire in the transparent plastic cube
was blue and round
Children wearing pieces of leather cloth
described it as fireworks of blood
A faceless old man
smothered the cube with turbid oil
Encased in discolored liquid now
no one knows the color of the fire
Ripened fruit trees bear fruit in the rich
soil laced with gold ore
To get it the birds who have fingers
set a bomb-they use their allies as a decoy
The farmer in aluminum armor
forgot to pray and give thanks for the harvest
So the fruit spoiled and fell
on the ground while he was aiming his rifle
Praying underground
Inundated water
Daytime persecution
Winded front
Lament in silence
Senseless brainwashing
Smashed pride
Evaporated hatred
Neighboring salvation
Collected pieces
Breathing lives
Which color will it be if we mix all of them
Finally the cube melts and the fire appears again
We found the fire was in fact burned our faces
Which color will it be if we mix all of them
I wonder it will be the same as that gray sky
Or can we make it as the kaleidoscope sea
we've never seen
